Letter from your {heavenly} Dad....

Father's Day might be hard for some of you.  Perhaps you are a single mom, and you wish your kids had a more involved dad.  Maybe your husband left you, or you are still married to him, but he's emotionally unavailable for you and your kids.  Maybe you just have never been close to your dad, and you would like to be.  Whatever the case, I'm thinking of you today.  No one has a perfect relationship with their dad, or with the man who is the father of their children....but if you are a follower of Christ, you have the perfect example in your eternal Daddy.  And I think Father's Day is just as much for kids, as it is for dads, because we all think back on who are dads are, both the good and bad.  Even if your dad, or your children's dad is a superstar, let's face it--he's still imperfect.  {And for the record, so am I, so are you.}  None of us need to be reminded of that... BUT, sometimes we need the comfort of a perfect Dad.  And today, I want to offer you the words of your heavenly Father, who loves you perfectly....
